About Us
KBSLS provides a fun and relaxed environment, where everyone of all levels can come along and sign.
We have a resident Keele BSL teacher who will be helping in classes and guest speakers from time to time. All committee members have passed their Level 1 and 2 Keele certificate and level 1 in signature . This means that we've got a lot of knowledge to spread around!
Understanding deaf culture and sensitivity around the subject is also a big part of what we do. We are talking to SignHealth and Signature to help fundraise for both charities whilst raising awareness of the deaf community in the local area.
